Diana Delnegro is an architect and lighting designer, founder and managing director of the atelier. She holds a PhD in urban lighting from The Bartlett, University College London, was responsible for the lighting of Lisbon's monuments for over fifteen years, from Praça do Comércio to the Marquês de Pombal, and coordinated the city's first urban lighting masterplan.
She is the author of a book and academic publications on urban and heritage lighting, a guest lecturer on the Light and Lighting master's at The Bartlett, and chairs the CIE international technical committee TC 4-59, creating the international guide for lighting urban elements.

Founded by Diana Delnegro, an architect with a PhD in lighting who is responsible for the CIE international guide to the lighting of urban elements, the practice combines professional experience with academic research, working with architects, cultural institutions, developers, cities and private clients across Portugal and internationally, from the urban scale and lighting masterplans to the scale of the object.
Lightware and Diana Delnegro Architectural Lighting are two brands of one practice: the same company, the same team and the same founder.
